A shattered back glass is not just cosmetic, it lets in dust and water and can cut your fingers. ZoomFones replaces back glass on iPhones and other phones across Sydney, using laser separation on newer models for a clean removal. Prices start from $65, with a 6-month warranty on Apple and 12-month warranty on Samsung. Available now at our Leppington store.

"On the left of the entrance as soon as you come in through the parking entrance."
The front screen is bonded to the frame under the display, while the back glass is bonded to the rear housing. Replacing the back means separating it from the frame, not from the display, so the job and the risk are different. On glass-back iPhones the wireless charging coil sits directly under the back glass.
From the iPhone 8 onward, Apple bonds the back glass aggressively. Heating alone risks the wireless charging coil and the logic board beneath. We use a laser to soften the adhesive precisely, so the glass lifts without stressing the coil. Older models with plastic backs are a simpler swap.
We bond the new back with genuine adhesive and reseal the perimeter so the device keeps its water resistance. As with any sealed repair, we cannot guarantee the original IP rating, so avoid submersion.
You can, but cracked back glass lets in dust and moisture, and on iPhones the broken glass can interfere with wireless charging. It is a slow-burn risk to the internals, so we recommend replacing it.
Usually yes, because the back does not contain the display or digitizer. But on newer iPhones where the glass is laser-bonded, the labour is more involved, so the gap narrows.
Yes, when fitted correctly. The charging coil sits under the back glass and is unaffected by a proper replacement. We test wireless charging after every back glass repair.
Yes, for glass-back Galaxy models. Plastic-back models usually need a rear cover replacement, which is simpler and cheaper.
